With the changes at World Trials level now meaning that impact protection needs to be worn EN1621-2 at a minimum, it could only be a matter of time until this is introduced at club and national level trials. The Answer line of Apex base layers was designed to protect you in any situation without affecting mobility and comfort. The Apex line has 2 versions. The Apex Short Sleeve and Apex Vest. We’d assume that the vest design would be more suitable for trials, and with the removable chest piece, this gives the user the choice of meeting the minimum requirements (when ACU follows FIM requirements) or keeping the chest impact in for added protection.
- All Apex base layers achieve a CE EN1621-2 Level 1 Back Protection and CE EN1621-3 Level 1 Chest Protection
- All the pads are removable for washing and replacement.
- Each base layer has a unique side entry zipper to allow for the impact-absorbing CE chest pad.
