The second day of action in the 2018 Acklams Beta sponsored British Youth Trials Championship took place on the wooded hillside of Kings Forest in the middle of the Isle of Man.
The expected rain thankfully stayed away but a very testing course was laid out by the host club which certainly tested the skills and endurance of riders and parents.
Daniel Slack took his first victory of the season in A class with a convincing win from Irish rider Adam Harris, with Joe Faunthorpe and William Dalton completing the top four positions.
In B class it was Northern Irish rider Reece Gazzard who came out on top with a great ride to finish 6 marks clear of Scottish man Ben Dignan, with Jack Dance completing the podium.
Harry Hemmingway dominated C class, losing just 15 marks to brother George’s 85, with Charlie Crossland third.
In C medium wheel it was Jasper Fox one mark in front of Toby Shaw, with Euan Sim taking the final podium spot.
William Sagar was the winner in D Medium wheel from Elliot Smith and Joe Drysdale whilst leading the way in the Small Wheel class for the second day running was Oset mounted Ellis Barton followed by two Manx riders, Jacob Wilson and Liam Barker who both rode the latest Beta electric bikes.
