The current Sub-Champion of the World comes back from Twin Ring Motegi in fourth position of TrialGP
The TrialGP 2019 World Championship has continued this weekend in Japan, where two TrialGP races took place on Saturday and Sunday consequently.The whole week-end run under intermittent rain, leaving a wet and muddy terrain during the second event of the season.
Despite the difficulty, the GasGas rider Jeroni Fajardo fought for the podium until the last moment on the opening day and finished in fifth place with 81 points. On Sunday, on another very difficult and hard day, he finished in ninth position with 54 points. After both days, Fajardo is fourth in the provisional classification of the maximum category of TriallGP with a total of 35 points.
The current leader of the women’s Spanish Trial championship, Neus Murcia, began the TrialGP Women World Championship with a fifth and a third place – her second podium in the women’s class since debuting last year as Trial2 Women winner- being in fourth position of the general classification of the women category with a total of 26 points.
Álex Canales, third in the previous TrialGP held in Italian, has closed his way through Motegi with a sixth and fourth place, respectively, to climb to fourth place in the provisional Trial125 with a total of 38 points.
The next event will take place on June 22 and 23 in Zelhem, the Netherlands

“It’s been a difficult weekend for us. On Saturday we rode well but the result did not go with us. Today was a tough day but we managed to finish, taking care of the mechanics, to scratch some points that will be very valuable in the fight for the championship that is just beginning”.
