A superb start to the 2018 British Trials Championship at the very popular Hookwoods venue, superbly organised by the Hookwoods Trials Club.
Always a tough and incredible slippery event.
Team JSTGGUK had a full attack and managed 5 x Team riders in the Top 9 in the main Championship Class.
JSTGGUK/180degrees rider JACK PRICE was 2nd and JSTGGUK/Inch rider DAN PEACE was 3rd. Great to have two riders on the podium albeit behind winner James Dabill. Congrats to Dibs and Beta.
I was very happy with JP and Dan Peace on Sunday. They both kept cool in the very frustrating conditions and both looked world class in places. Good consistent laps scores from both of them.
JSTGGUK/Inch rider Jack Peace was 5th, Dec Bullock 8th and Alex Wigg 9th
Good solid result from young Jack but being 25 marks behind his brother won’t have pleased him.
Some brilliant riding from Dec Bullock was good to see and a well-deserved result.
Wiggys first BTC trial for over a year and he’s straight back in the Top 10. This is called talent because Alexz is not very bike fit at the moment and also rode a brand new bike for the first time. Alex will improve when he gets a few more trials and hopeful gym sessions under his belt to lose some KG’s.
In the Expert Class we did not have the same success. JSTGGUK riders Dan Thorpe and Sam Yeomans were 7th and 8th and JSTGGUK/FK rider Chris Alford was 12th.
In the Elite Youth Class, our new Youth JSTGGUK Team rider Mitch Brightmore was 2nd and on the podium

Thanks to FK for JP bike prep.
Well done to all 😊
