The Best Version Of Adam Raga Shines In Belgium

Just one week after visiting the French town of Auron, the Trial World Championship continued its activity with the sixth round, held this weekend in the Belgian town of Comblain-au-Pont, in the context of a race very high physical and technical requirement where Adam Raga, second, has also marked the best lap of the race.

In TrialGP Adam Raga has returned to the podium after a brilliant performance that began qualifying fourth on Saturday. Already in the race, with interesting references from their rivals, the TRS driver went from less to more, marking in the second step in the zones the best score of the category and contesting the victory until the last bars of the competition.

With this second position Adam is placed to nine points of the positions of honor in the provisional classification in the absence of two races. In this Grand Prize the Englishman Iwan Roberts also participated, finishing fourteenth.

In Trial2, a very competitive category, Luca Petrella signed his best race of the season with a fourth position to only two points of the podium and four of the victory. Within the “top ten” was also Marc Riba, with Haga eleventh and local Maxime Mathy twentieth.

The World Cup activity will return after a summer break on the 1st and 2nd of September with the Grand Prix of Great Britain.

Jordi Tarrés
“It has been a good Grand Prix for us. Adam has driven with great success and concentration, demonstrating that he is at the best level in a race of high demand. This second position gives us an extra motivation to face the final stretch of the championship. In Trial2, a category where we are not getting the expected results, Luca has signed his best result of the year, fourth, very close to the podium.

Adam Raga
“This race has been very positive for us. We have driven with great success in a very selective trial and morally we feel like winners. It’s been a season of setbacks, not easy, but I trust to keep this good line and sign a great final straight of the championship in September.
