1977 SSDT – The Countdown Continues – The First Visit

This was the very first visit for Trial Magazine Editor John Hulme

Bob Lydiatt (Yamaha). Ten years earlier he had helped Dave Rowland build up the box of bits from BSA which became the ‘Thing’. Rowlands finished second on it in 1967.
Its ‘Weigh In’ Day. No 76 is Duncan MacDonald with his Bultaco engined MAC.
John Metcalfe (Ossa) 201 in green and John MacDonald (Yamaha) finish another day.
