Yesterday was the big inspection day for the Wulfsport Oset Yorkshire world trial GP at Tong as Jordi Pascuet the FIM section advisor came to inspect the venue and progress made towards the world trial round on 16/17 July.
Jordi was very impressed with the work that Graham Jarvis, Sandy Mack and Dave Hoare and his team have done over the last 8 months in getting the venue ready for the UK round of the FIM world trial championship. Jordi said he was led to believe that all the sections would be man-made but was pleasantly surprised to find 7 natural sections with only small enhancements of added rock and 5 manufactured sections with big steps.
Jordi requested a few minor changes to some section mainly on the length and this will be implemented in the next week.
With 100 riders expected including the women it’s going to be a bonanza weekend of trials.
It will be exciting to see what will happen at Tong on some British style sections, so why not go to www.worldtrialuk.co.uk and order your discounted tickets now.
