Two years after rising his first title as World Champion in Great Britain, the official GasGas Trial Factory Team rider repeated victory with the Spanish national team at the X-Trial of Nations.
The Spanish squad, teamed by Jaime Busto, riding the new GasGas TrialGP 300, and Toni Bou won the international contest that annually faces the five great world powers, finishing without penalty the first two rounds and defeating the host team, France, with great authority. Scoring only five points, Busto was the best rider of this 2019 edition of the X-Trial of Nations.
GasGas stepped up twice on the podium twice in Vendée, GasGas UK rider Jack Price accomplished a third position with Great Britain team. Häkon Pedersen in fifth place with the Norwegian squad.
After the X-Trial of Nations, the GasGas Trial Factory Team focuses on the Andorra event next April 27. Jaime Busto and Jeroni Fajardo will compete for a place on the podium at the final and decisive race of the X-Trial World Championship 2019.

“This X-Trial of Nations has been fantastic for us, we have won with a quite a distance despite the fact that the scores were low. However, we managed the pressure and finished the first two laps without any penalty, which gave us a lot of confidence. At the final round we did very well and won by a comfortable margin. I think Toni [Bou] and I made up a good team, everything is always easy with him. I am happy to have won again.“
