Adam Raga completes the X-Trial season with the sub-championship and a great victory

Adam Raga’s x-Trial season has concluded in the best possible way: climbing to the top of the podium and confirming the Sub-Championship 2018 with TRRS.

Budapest has been the scene of the last indoor race. In the first round, the TRRS rider faced two of the most complicated riders, Busto and Bincaz, resolving it with a convincing victory and only five marks. This result placed him as the first classified of the nine riders that made the start. Luca Petrella, Wild Card rider in this race, concluded his performance in this round with a meritorious seventh position.

In the second round he faced again with Bincaz and also with Gelabert. Raga dominated this round  again and secured the passage to the final with Jaime Busto.

In the grand final there was tension and equality, as both riders were equaling their records until the last section, which Raga brilliantly overcame with two marks, giving his first win of the season.

Next week the X-Trial season officially ends with the Trial of Nations, a race that is played by teams.

“It was a great win and the best way to close the Championship.  I dominated the first two Rounds, and won the Final as well, although that wasn´t decided until the last section because Jaime made things very difficult for me.  This result consolidates the strong finishing straight that I have put in towards the end of this Championship, and shows that my hard work in recovering from injury was well worth it.”
