The third place achieved in Marseille confirms mathematically the second place in the X-Trial World Championship
Adam Raga came to Marseille with the motivation of being the only rider capable of fighting the world title to Toni Bou.
In the context of a difficult and technical race, where it was easy to fail, Adam shone from the first round with a great second position. In the semifinal, where only two or three sections were affordable, Adam signed the same marks as Fajardo, but the advantage was for his opponent for having spent less time on the course.
Those valuable seconds prevented Raga from fighting in the grand final for the victory, achieving in Marseille a positive third position that gives him mathematically the runner-up of the World X-Trial 2019. A great success for the team.
The last race of the calendar will be played on April 17 in Andorra la Vella.
Race P3 – Championship P2
“It was a tough X-Trial right from the start, and I didn´t manage the time very well on the second lap, so ended up short on time and out of the Final. The atmosphere was incredible and the public really pushed us with their encouragement.”
