Emma Bristow Media Service-Ladies FIM World Trials Championship Rd 1 and 2 -Sokolov – Czech Republic – 30/31.05.2015
Current Ladies FIM World Trials Champion Emma Bristow came away from the opening two rounds of this year’s series opener at the top of the points table for Sherco. Based just outside the small village of Sokolov the organising club had a laid out twelve hazards to be ridden three times around a ten kilometre course for the twenty three ladies competing. Due to the nature of the terrain some of the hazards were changed slightly for day two. The estimated 2,000 spectators watched the action unfold in predominantly wooded area with a river running through it.
Emma Bristow: “I am very happy to come away from the two days of competition with the championship lead on the Sherco. On day one I did not ride to my true form but I used my experience to move into the lead after the second lap but a five mark penalty on section six pushed me off the top spot of the podium”.
“Day two was a fresh start and with it I showed why I am the Ladies World Trials champion with a very comfortable victory. I parted with just a single mark on section one on my first lap and followed this up with two consistent lap scores of six on both the second and third laps to take the top spot on the podium”.
“The whole team has worked very well this weekend and once again I have proved how good the Sherco machine is on a wide selection of hazards. I would like to thank all my sponsors who keep me at the cutting edge of the sport in the world of ladies”
