GasGas starts the electric Trial World Championship with a convincing victory by Albert Cabestany.

Outstanding race by Albert Cabestany riding the unbeaten GasGas TXE. Jeroni Fajardo steps back on the podium of TrialGP.

The Trial-E World Championship couldn’t have begun in a better way for GasGas in his goal to maintain the title won by the brand in the last two editions. Albert Cabestany completed the two laps of the course without any penalty, despite the pressure applied by the Japanese rider Kuroyama throughout the race. The third place on the podium went to the Italian rider Gianluca Tournour, signifying the current hegemony of the GasGas TXE in the electric category.

In TrialGP, Jeroni Fajardo demonstrated again his great state of shape by obtaining a meritorious third place, after fighting side by side throughout the race for the second position. With this result, the rider from Girona holds the fourth place in the world championship and trims points with Fujinami.

14 years old, Alex Canales, rounded off a fantastic day for GASGAS with a third place in the 125cc category.

Comblain au Pont in Belgium will host the next race of the TrialGPcalendar, next weekend, on June 29 and 30.

Satisfied by a podium that is always difficult to achieve. It was a singular race because the terrain was essentially artificial, but since Saturday I had a good feeling with the bike, which allowed me to be second on the qualifying. Today, I was able to control the race well, and it was a pity that in the second round I was in a hurry for time that made me penalize in the last section. In short, very happy with the bike and the work of the whole team. Already thinking of the Belgian race next week.”

The result speaks for itself. I have made an exceptional and very solid race. We suffered because Kuroyama has been pressuring me without making major mistakes, and until the last moment I knew that a small mistake would step me down from victory, but at the end everything went round. The bike has performed perfectly, I felt comfortable on it. I’m getting used to the ebike step by step and enjoying more every day. I want to thank the whole team for the support because they have welcomed me with great enthusiasm. I hope to keep this line of work in Belgium.”
