JST GGUK weekend report

JSTGGUK rider Michael Brown WON Saturdays BTC round in Devon organised by the West Of England Club.

A superb venue and great weather made for a good event.

Michael Brown

Michael bounced back after a poor result at his local Scarborough event a few weeks ago with a very confident win on Saturday to close the championship points gap to just 7 points behind his team mate Jack Price. Three rounds left to ride and no doubt the Championship will go down to the last round.

JSTGGUK/Cloburn rider Jack Price had a great start to the Trial and was leading the first lap until the last section which he fived, trying to go the intended route. All riders after this found a sneaky cheat line which the observer allowed. A frustrated Jack kept his cool and rode the rest of the Trial professionally.

JSTGGUK/Inch Perfect rider Jack Peace was next best GG rider with another top 6 result in 6th just beating his older brother Dan Peace who was 7th. Dan had a nightmare of a first lap but came back well on laps two and three.

JSTGGUK rider Sam Haslam had a solid day in 9th and is now 9th in the Championship.

JSTGGUK rider Tom Minta had consistant lap scores finishing 12th.

In the Expert Class JSTGGUK rider Dan Thorpe was back on the podium in 3rd. Dan is 13 points behind Championship leader Richard Sadler and will keep pushing until the last round.

GASGAS riders Chris Alford, Chris Stay and Sam Yeomans were 9th, 10th and 14th respectively.

Congrats also to Oliver Smith for finishing 2nd in the Youth Class on His Oset/GG.
