Mixed results from Sundays BTC3 at the Neath Motor Clubs ‘Llety Rafel Farm’ venue near Neath in South Wales. This great venue is always tough with its very slippery conditions. Congrats to the club who put on a great trial with some good, tough natural sections.
JSTGGUK rider Jack Price struggled in 3rd behind winner James Dabill and Toby Martyn. The venue is quite frustrating with the slippery nature of the sections and I’ve seen many a top rider lose his cool here over the years. All credit to JP who was not having the best of days but kept his cool which impressed me. JP still made the podium and is 2nd in the Championship.
JST team mates Dan and Jack Peace were 4th and 7th.
Alexz Wigg and Dec Bullock were 13 and 14th.
In the Masters Class JSTGGUK rider Sam Haslam was 2nd but a recent back injury is a worry for next weeks SSDT.
Dan Thorpe was again on the Expert podium in 3rd. Also finishing 7th was Sam Yeomans which is his best BTC result so far this year, so well done to Sam.
JSTGGUK Youth Team rider Mitch Brightmore won the Elite Youth Class again and would have finished 14th in the Experts which was a great result especially on a 125cc.
