It was full attack from the Team at the very successful and popular ‘Supertrial’ organised by the North Berks Club. I must say again what an excellent spectacle this event is and all credit to Stuart Robinson and the rest of the North Berks Club.
JSTGGUK team riders had some great results with two riders making the four rider final. JACK PRICE and JACK PEACE finished 3rd and 4th respectively.
JP was in awesome form. Just a couple of mistakes pushed Jack to 3rd. He is in great form at the moment which i hope he carries on to this coming weekend BTC and next weekend TrialGP UK.
Jack actually won the heats which was two laps of nine sections.
Young Jack Peace fully deserved his place in the final through sheer determination from both Jack and minder Jamie. Jack finished a great 4th, well done!
JSTGGUK rider Dan Peace was also riding well and finished 6th. He posted a clean second lap in the heats which was impressive. Dan had a questionable decision on section 3 in the semi final which definitely upset his flow. It was a very long day for both riders and observers so no issue really just a decision that didn’t go Dans way this time.
JSTGGUK riders Sam Haslam, Alexz WIGG and Dec Bullock all flew the GG flag well finishing 10th, 13th and 14th respectively.
In the Youth event the Day before (report by Nicky Dance);
JSTGGUK Youth Team rider Harry Turner competed for the first time at the super trial held at the famous Seymours Arena hosted by Northberks Mcc. As a late entry Harry rode for NA, first off on the saturday in the youth class, the sections set out by Stuart Robinson and team were top class and challenging. Harry took on the challenge with true determination gaining valuable experience as he made his way round the sections, coming away with P8, well done Harry.
JSTGGUK Youth Team ride Jack Dance unfortunately was a non starter after taking an awkward tumble the day before in preparation for the event, resulting in a broken hand. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Great to see JSTGGUK rider Michael Brown at the event both days supporting his Youth riders Saturday and the main team Sunday. He was minding for Wiggy and also helped the lads out in the final. Michaels experience and no nonsense advice is invaluable to the lads.
Thanks to Heath Brindley www.trialmaguk.com for the great action pics.
