JSTGGUK TrialGB Round 5

JSTGGUK Trials Team rider JACK PRICE wins at British Trials Championship Round 5

Team JST GAS GAS UK was at Round 5 of the British Trials Championship at the weekend at the West Of England organised Anthony Rew Trial…
Congrats to the club who did a great job and also to the observers who did a consistent job considering the nature of the venue and sections.

We had three class winners with JACK PRICE winning the main TrialGB Class to extend his Championship lead.
Jack will take one round at a time as he knows that consistency will win the title this year.
Jack was in excellent form yesterday. He started well with a blistering lap 1. He had a brain fade on lap 2 section 9 with a soft five. He also fived the next hard section 10 which was very unlucky. Jack then started to wobble because he was then one mark down on Toby going into the last lap. Jack was not feeling 100% but this was no excuse. He then maturely ‘reset’ himself going into the last lap and recovered well. Even a puncture in the last section didn’t stop Jack winning. A good come back is what champions are made of.

RICHARD SADLER was 4th in the Trial2 class and is now 3rd in the championship only one point off 2nd and 6 points off the leader. With four northern rounds to go I’m confident Richard can win this class.

SAM HASLAM was 6th and needs a win at the next round to get him back pushing for the title.

ALEXZ WIGG was 7th and good to see Alexz back at a TrialGB round.

DEC BULLOCK crashed out with a DNF

In the Expert Class, DAN THORPE had his first win of the season which was deserved. Dan never gives up and this win is a warning shot to his younger rivals that he will fight this title down to the last section of the last round. Dan is now second in the championship and is hunting!

SAM YEOMANS was again on the podium in 3rd. Great to see Sam having success this year.

BEN DIGNAN again won the Trial125 Class. It was a tough day yesterday for the 125s so well done to you all.

Good work Team !
