More weekend JST GGUK news

It was the local Dave Rowland National Trial on Sunday and JSTGGUK rider Dan Thorpe made the long 4 hour trip back north from the previous days BTC Devon round to rider this prestigious National which he duly won! I can always rely on Dan to fly the GG flag at the UK nationals and is a role model to any young rider.

Dan Thorpe

Dan lost just 9 marks to beat his pal Richard Timperley who was out on his new JSTGGUK TXT300RACING. Timp is a well-known and liked rider and it’s great to see him back on GG. I must say Timp enjoyed his time on his Acklam’s Beta and just fancied a change to keep his enthusiasm. No doubt he thanks Paul and Joel for their help.

Both Dan and Richard finished miles ahead of the rest…

Katy Sunter Thorpe

A BIG congratulations and a welcome back to Trials goes to JSTGG Girl Katy Sunter Thorpe who won the Clubman Class on his first Trial back on a new 2017 TXT250RACING prepared by Factory Kev.

Great to see her back on a bike 😊.

Richard Timperly

Whilst Katy was at the Dave Rowland, GG girls Nikita Smith, Louise and Catherine Alford were at the Bexleyheath Women’s BTC round.

Nikita and Louise were 3rd and 4th respectively in the main Ladies Class.

Catherine was 4th in the Intermediate Class
