Bou is not the only rider to have secured his Championship ranking in Marseille – Adam Raga arrives in Andorra already assured of second place in the Standings.
But the fight for the bronze medal will go to a last Round decider. Jaime Busto (Gas Gas) struggled last time out in France and has conceded ground to his main permanent rider rivals Benoit Bincaz (Beta) and Miquel Gelabert (Sherco). But it is Jeroni Fajardo (Gas Gas), who has qualified for each 2019 X-Trial as top event rider, who currently occupies fourth position in the Standings and will take the fight to Busto at this final Round.
Alongside Fajardo as nominated riders are Japan’s Takahisa Fujinami (Repsol Montesa Honda) and Jorge Casales (Vertigo) who each make their third appearances of the campaign. And the line-up is completed by Luca Petrella (Beta), who is this event’s Wild Card.
Each of the nine competitors is sure to want to end on a high at the spectacular X-Trial Andorra la Vella, as Toni Bou is officially confirmed Champion and the rest of the medal positions are decided in the principality.
Tickets are priced between €25 and €125, the higher price reflecting VIP Gold Access, and other tickets depending on preferential zoning are available at €30 or €35.
