Pit ‘Bitz’ – 2015 British Championship Rounds 3 and 4

Trial Magazine has a quick look back at rounds three and four of the 2015 British Championship from Kelly’s Farm run by the West of England Club last weekend.

1 (Small)Spanish import to the British Championship in 2015 Jorge Casales (Beta) put the disappointment of the opening rounds to take his first win on the Saturday – Round 3

2 (Small)Beta UK importer John Lampkin was very happy with the win for Jorge Casales and Beta

3 (Small)Michael Brown took his first win the 2015 BTC on day two on the JST Gas Gas to keep himself well in the hunt for the championship

4 (Small)This was the first BTC win for the new Mots trials boot which we are told will be available very shortly

5 (Small)James Fry was over the moon with his fourth place finish on the Saturday

7 (Small)After taking two top 15 finishes in the Expert Class World and British Ladies number one Emma Bristow came back to support her partner James Fry on both days

9 (Small)Showing a much more mature riding head on his young shoulders Billy Bolt on the Ossa took a sixth and a fourth place finish over the two days

11 (Small)After two podium finishes at the opening BTC rounds Sam Haslam (JST Gas Gas) struggled with a serious stomach bug leaving him very short of energy at the weekend hence the lowly finishing positions

8 (Small)Emma Bristow (Sherco) debuted her new Team Clice riding kit at the weekend

12 (Small)Dan Peace (JST Gas Gas) took a personal best finish in the BTC on day two with 5th position

13 (Small)Jack Price followed home Dan Peace on Sunday

15 (Small)Team Roundhouse Beta rider Dec Bullock was not happy with his riding at the weekend but remains confident that the results will come

16 (Small)Despite taking an operation to eradicate arm pump problems Luke Walker continues to suffer – Does any one out there know who can help him with this problem – e/mail england@trialmag.com if you can recommend any one

17 (Small)Local rider Joe Baker only rode day one as was more than happy to go to his daughters birthday party on the Sunday

18 (Small)Looking cool on day two in his blue Jitsie riding kit was Jorge Casales who took third on the Beta

19 (Small)Taking the Saturday win in the Expert class was Dan Thorpe

20 (Small)Nick Baker (RCM Sherco) was over the moon with his Expert Class win on Sunday

22 (Small)The Electric Motion machine in the capable hands of Chris Pearson continues to impress in the Expert Class and is 12th place finish was very impressive at this steep wooded venue

23 (Small)Toby Martyn took the wins on both days on the Beta in the Youth A Class

24 (Small)Jack Peace followed Toby Martyn home on both days as the two riders on the 125cc machines
