Adam Raga keeps the fight for the world title in the top category alive after winning two important podiums at the Spanish GP, held in Pobladura de las Regueras (León). In total, the TRS riders achieved a total of 9 podiums during the weekend, covering practically all categories.
Only six days after the French GP, the short and intense 2020 Trial World Championship landed in León to celebrate the Spanish GP.
Adam Raga maintained a high level and regularity throughout the weekend. On Saturday, with practically identical lap times, he managed to sign a positive third position. On Sunday, with a better race pace, he managed to lead a good part of the first lap, but some errors relegated him to a more than deserving second position.
Adam moves up one position in the provisional standings and into second, ten points behind the leader with forty points still to play for.
In Trial2 we celebrate the victory of Aniol Gelabert, who with only a few weeks of adaptation to the TRRS, has achieved his best historical record in this category. Important podium also for Sondre Haga, who rises to the provisional third position.
On Saturday, podium for Alex Ferrer, who despite a bad Sunday remains provisional runner-up. In Trial 125, difficult weekend for Alex Canales, who signed the sixth position on Saturday and on Sunday could not take the start due to physical problems.
In TrialGP Women, a brilliant double podium for Sandra Gómez, who climbed one position in the general standings and is now second. In Trial2 Women, Lenna Volpe is still on the podium and has moved up to third place on both days.
The World Trial Championship does not stop and next weekend the Andorra GP will take part with two scoring races.
