The Gas Gas rider finishes the opening round of the Trial ‘outdoor’ World Championship with a fourth place finish at Motegi. Raga failed to repeat on the podium as the day before and now sets his sights on the next round in the Czech Republic. Arnau Farré had a solid performance in the World Cup, the young Lleida rider ends in fourth place in the category for the promising young riders of trial.

A complicated second day for Adam Raga in Motegi. After a podium finish yesterday, today the Gas Gas rider has added a fourth place finish in the Japanese Grand Prix, the first round of the trial ‘outdoor’ World Championship series, for the riders of the highest caliber.

Like yesterday, the mistakes of the first lap weighed heavily upon the fate of Adam Raga in the opening round of the World Championship. The Gas Gasrider was forced to try to overcome. He has climbed to the second position momentarily, but mistakes on the last lap have finally cost the podium forGas Gas, resulting in a fourth, just six points clear of the honor, on this second day of the Japan Grand Prix. A result that does not satisfy the Gas Gas rider, but which certainly will draw positive conclusions for the next round of the World Championship, the GP of the Czech Republic.

While today in the World Cup, Arnau Farré has touched the podium spots. After his seventh place yesterday, the rider from the Gas Gas School of Champions has produced a solid performance that has allowed him to improve and finish fourth. A result that allows the young Llieda rider to place himself in fifth position in the World standings and looks with optimism to the future.

Finally, we regret to inform about the injury of the Gas Gas rider Michael Brown in the Japanese GP. The winner of the last race of ‘British’ trial championship has fallen hard during the second day and has fractured his leg. The family that forms the Gas Gas team wishes him a speedy recovery.

The next round of the World Championship will be the Czech Grand Prix, held in the Czech Republic at Sokolov, the weekend of the 30th and 31st of May.

Adam Raga: “Today was a very difficult day. The truth is that we are not too satisfied with the result, having failed at the beginning of the race and then we were not able to overcome. There was a time when we have even been in the second position, but after two errors in the last sections have left us no room. Not a good result, but we have to move forward and improve in the forthcoming rounds of the World Championship.”
