The ACU Trials and Enduro Committee are delighted to announce that the teams to represent GB in the forthcoming Trial des Nations due to be held in Ibiza on 29th September will be unchanged from those that experienced great success last year inn Sokolov CZ.
The women’s team will defend their crown as reigning champions and will be looking to retain their superiority over the Spanish team who will be on home turf for the second time in three years.
The team will comprise multi World Champion Emma Bristow, the current leader of the British Women’s Trials series Jess Bown and the amazing Donna Fox who inspires the whole team.
The men, too, will be unchanged. James Dabill, Jack Price and Toby Marty pulled off an incredible second place last year and despite the Spanish team’s perceived superiority the spirit and confidence is high that we can mount a serious challenge again in Ibiza.
The back-up team also remains unchanged with the exception of Tim Martyn who has been brought in as Team Manager, this will add some mobility as Tim can get around on a bike and is highly respected by all the team.
Overall control of the team effort is being coordinated as always by Trials and Enduro Committee Vice Chairman who has high hopes for some good results.
Mick reported that there is a great buzz within the team and all are looking forward to giving their best in this special location.
Tim is making some T Shirts which will be available to show your support for the team effort, details will be available.
