2015 WTC Rounds 5 and 6 06/07/06/2015 Czech Republic
The trip to Sweden for rounds 5 and 6 of this year’s FIM World Trials Championship was rewarded with a well organised event at the Boras Motorstadion which is a motor complex situated 16 km from the south of Boras in Gaddered with excellent facilities for off-road competition including trials. The two days were both ridden in mixed weather with persistent showers on both days in-between the bright sunshine. The 12 hazards to be ridden over 3 laps would change with the weather on both days in the predominantly wooded area which was scattered with large rocks. The competition was enjoyed by around 7,000 spectators over the two days of action.
Dec Bullock: “This has been an excellent event which was very ‘English’ in many ways featuring a wide variety of hazards including steep wooded banks, mud and large rocks. The rain which was sporadic over the two days allowed the mud to be carried onto the rocks making it very slippery”.
“My first days result was a points scoring one but once again I started quite well but never improved considering my liking for the conditions. On the second day I was just very inconsistent again and could not get onto a flowing riding style despite a pretty good first lap score which would have kept me in a points scoring position”.
“At this moment I am not happy with my riding despite some superb support from the team. The next round this coming weekend is my home event and I will try to focus on getting into the top ten to score some solid championship points”.
