In Andorra, the team’s pilots found themselves close to the podium in turn during the two days of the race. On Saturday, Gabriel Marcelli in TrialGP finished in 4th place, before losing four places on Sunday and taking 8th place. In Trial2, Billy Green showed a much better face than during the first two weekends of the race, finishing 8th and then 5th . And Francesc Moretfinished 5th on Saturday and 11th on Sunday.
Half-fig, half-grape feeling this weekend, P4 on Saturday super happy and very close to the podium, and on Sunday P8 which doesn’t mean much, but we were really close to all the riders in front, so the difference was minimal. Thanks to the team and the sponsors, we remain 5th in the general classification of the World TrialGP with a weekend to the end.
Weekend in bittersweet Andorra … Saturday, we were 5th for the third time and very close to the podium … Sunday was not good and I could only finish 11th. It was a very hard day for me … when we can’t pass the zones … Thanks to the RG team and especially to the Boss who we missed in the paddock with his advice. Thank you also to Montesa for the material for paddock A and for the refueling between the heats, thank you to Arnau, my sponsors, my family and my friends who came to cheer me on! Now is the time to keep working to give the maximum during the last two races of Lazzate (Italy)
This weekend has been much better for me. I made a few changes and they seem to have helped me. I felt very comfortable on the bike and enjoyed the slippery conditions, I hope to keep this form until the last races in Italy!
A word from the manager of the RG Trial team, Rudi Geiser :
Results of the weekend a little angry, but as compensation, we experienced two days of very intense races with an extraordinary atmosphere. As usual, the drivers were fully into the race, but above all all in a remarkable team spirit. Thanks to everyone for the job.
There are two rounds left in this 2020 world championship. They will take place on October 10 and 11 at Lazzate in Monza, Italy . The RG Trial riders will give everything to finish in style and win a last podium in this special year!
