2015 FIM X-Trial World Championship
1: Repsol Honda team rider Takahisa Fujinami was at the event supporting his fellow rider Toni Bou. Talking to Trial Magazine the Japanese rider explained that he can soon start training on a machine again as he continues to recover from the operation on his injured knee.
2: Riding the four-stroke Montesa/Honda Cota 4RT Sweden’s Eddie Karlsson will be riding in Hebo clothing in 2015 as he competes in all the FIM X-Trial and Outdoor World Championship events. He was wearing a new prototype Hebo boot at Saturdays competion in France.
3: Team Vertigo rider James Dabill was wearing new personalised boots from his sponsors Forma.
4: The Sherco of Albert Cabestany was using a rear Ohlin’s shock absorber and the bigger Enduro clutch was fitted to the motor.
5: The ‘Wild Card’ rider at Marseille was French man Loris Gubian on the Gas Gas. He had the new Dunlop 803GP fitted and reported no problems with the new rubber.
6: Alexandre Ferrer put on a good show in the event and as with James Dabill had new personalised boots from his sponsor Forma.
7: The new Vertigo project continues to undergo testing at every opportunity. Over the last few weeks this has included suspension testing. The team were disappointed with Saturdays performance and will no doubt learn from every outing with the new machine.
