2025 TRIAL GP OF GREAT BRITAIN – MICHELIN HIT THE TOP SPOT WITH HARRY HEMINGWAY

Harry Hemingway (Beta-GBR) is the 2025 FIM Trial2 World Champion after securing the much sought after title on home soil at the Trial GP of Great Britain. On a weekend when Toni Bou (Repsol Honda-ESP) also won a record 38th FIM Trial World Championship, Michelin also secured the following titles in TrialGP Women with Berta Abellan (Scorpa-ESP) and in Trial3 with Ryon Land (Sherco-USA).

This was the first time that FIM Trial World Championship has visited Great Britain after a seven year absence with an event that was welcome in the international calendar and took place at the Boughton House Estate in Northamptonshire over the weekend of the 6th and 7th of September. The world’s best riders from all five classes; TrialGP, TrialGP Women, Trial2, Trial2 Women and Trial3 assembled in front of a huge crowd of fans to compete over two laps of 12 observed sections on each day. Two of the sections would be man-made in the start and finish area and the others would consist of rocks and steep climbs in the heavily wooded area giving spectators a close up view of the action. Superb weather over the weekend of the event was only interrupted by a brief shower on Sunday which was enjoyed by an estimated crowd of 14,000 people over the two days.

Harry Hemingway: “Winning the FIM Trial2 World Championship means so much to me and my family as we have all worked so hard to achieve this goal and I would like to thank everyone who has supported me. It seems such a long time ago when I was just 16 years old and winning my first FIM title with the Trial3 World Championship in 2022. The process to winning my latest title in 2025 has not been easy over the past few years but with each season I knew that I was making progress and improving. This year has been very challenging with highs and lows in such a competitive championship class with so many riders all capable of winning at each round. Michelin has been my choice of tyres all the way such is the ability of them to be able to adjust to a wide range of riding conditions, having the extra edge from their superior performance when needed has certainly helped me to achieve my success.”
