Vertigo strengthens its partnership with Dougie Lampkin

Vertigo Motors renews and expands its existing agreement with Dougie Lampkin. The brand has officially recognised the key role played by the British rider in Vertigo’s development over the past decade by appointing him Global Ambassador for Vertigo Motors.

Palau de Plegamans i Solità (Barcelona, Spain), November 28, 2025. – Vertigo Motors has renewed and expanded its agreement with world champion Dougie Lampkin. The brand has officially recognised the key role that the British rider has played in Vertigo’s development over the past decade, appointing him as Global Ambassador of Vertigo Motors.

Dougie Lampkin is a true trial legend: 7-time FIM Trial Outdoor World Champion, 5-time Indoor World Champion, and a 14-time winner of the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT), seven of those victories achieved with Vertigo, proving the outstanding performance of the brand’s motorcycles. Lampkin also boasts an impressive record at the iconic Scott Trial, with 6 wins, two of them riding Vertigo. The green brand has dominated the event in recent years, securing 7 of the last 9 editions of this historic competition.

Lampkin has also served as team manager of the Vertigo competition squad, leading the team to major successes such as the 2022 World Championship runner-up title with Jaime Busto, and the 2020 Trial125 World Championship claimed by Pau Martínez.

In addition, Dougie Lampkin is Vertigo Motors’ importer in Great Britain. His outstanding commercial performance has been acknowledged with the delivery of a new Vertigo RS3, awarded for achieving an exceptional sales volume.

Meanwhile, Alfie Lampkin has been selected as an official Vertigo rider for the upcoming season. Dougie Lampkin’s son has competed over the past four seasons in the TrialGP World Championship in the Trial3 and Trial2 categories, while also participating in the British national championship and iconic events such as the SSDT and the Scott Trial. He will be one of Vertigo’s leading riders in both national and international competitions.
