Michelin at the Scottish Six Days Trial 2025 – Jack Peace Wins!

Michelin Dominate the Podium

Jack Peace (Sherco-GBR) took a well-deserved first victory at the 2025 Scottish Six Days Trial organised by The Edinburgh & District Motor Club which ran from the 5th until the 10th of May. The Michelin tyres success story for the winner also continued further down the order. The majority of the riders in a finishing list of 272 competitors chose to use Michelins for their durability and exceptional performance over the six days of this competition played out around the base of the event at Fort William.

2nd 2025 SSDT Adam Raga (Sherco-ESP)Marking a return to the event for the first time since 1999, Adam Raga (Sherco-ESP) and young Harry Hemingway (Beta-GBR) in only his second SSDT led the way on day one losing no marks. On day two they remained feet-up as the eventual winner Jack Peace (Sherco-GBR) remained in a challenging position on two marks lost. On day three Raga went to the head of the entry as Harry Hemingway parted with his first mark of the week to stay in contention.

3rd 2025 SSDT George Hemingway (125cc Beta-GBR)

Harry Hemingway knew that when he lost ten marks with two stops that a win was now possibly well out of his grasp on Thursday leaving Raga still leading the way. At the Chairlift sections on Friday, day five, it was Adam Raga who lost the lead parting with five marks as he ran over a section marker putting Jack Peace in the leading position with one day remaining. Jack never looked back on the final day making him a very happy winner of the 2025 Scottish Six Days Trial.

Best Female Rider Emma Bristow (Sherco-GBR)

Also making full use of the Michelin tyres and finishing third was 17 year old George Hemingway on the 125cc Beta. Despite his young age and on the smaller engine machine, he also won the award for the Best Newcomer and Best up to 200cc capacity award. The event had five female competitors including the 10 x FIM TrialGP Women’s World Champion, Emma Bristow MBE, who was again the leading lady as she laid claim to the Best Female Rider award finishing in 47th position.

2025 SSDT Winner Jack Peace (Sherco-GBR)

Winner Jack Peace: “I did not believe that the winning feeling got much better than in 2024 when I won the FIM Trial2 World Championship but my latest victory at the 2025 SSDT means so much to me. I started the week well keeping in touch with the leaders but if I am honest I did feel the nerves a little on the final day in such a low scoring event. My Michelin tyres have performed to the limit on all the challenges that this iconic event brings with it giving me the confidence when I needed the maximum performance from them. I would like to thank everyone who made this win possible – thank you”.
