OSET Bikes Unveils Five Custom Creations at The Bike Shed Show
OSET Bikes announced its presence at the Bike Shed Moto Show unveiling five custom bikes. In a bold showcase of electric innovation and creativity, OSET showcased the unique, one off designs, which utilised the TXP frames.
OSET presented a series of electrifying custom concepts, including a café racer, a utility bike, and a bobber-inspired build. Designed to highlight the versatility and performance of OSET’s electric platform, each custom bike is a one-off creation that merges future-forward engineering with classic styling cues.
- The ‘Bosset’ was designed by founder Ian Smith and Tony Lane inspired by a Bobber. It utilises a TXP-24 frame, and features a working speedometer, a deep, rich burgundy tank and custom leather detailing from seat to straps.
- The Tomahawk was designed by trials rider Tom Hawthorne. Based around the TXP-20 frame, it features a round retro-feel lamp, a dark pine green tank yet maintains the simple and clean lines of the OSET seat.
- The Ranger was developed by OSET R&D technician, Chris Mayhew. New frame colour, utility storage and modern headlights takes the explore nature of the TXP-24 and develops the concept to a design a vehicle that take the bike to the next level.
- The original custom OSET, the Café Racer, designed in 2013 by Andy Kelley attracted a lot of attention with its silver frame and complimentary tank.
- The Bear Cub won many fans with dozens of requests to purchase on the spot. The 3D printed tank proved a surprise to Bike Shed fans and complimented gave a strong nod to classic Triumphs.
But the excitement didn’t stop there. The full OSET range was also on display, giving visitors a hands-on look at the bikes that have made OSET the go-to name in youth and beginner electric motorcycling.
The OSET display team held court inside the iconic venue, offering expert insights, answering questions, and celebrating all things electric. Whether you’re a seasoned rider, a curious newcomer, or a custom bike aficionado, the OSET sta. nd was a must-visit destination at this year’s show. The demo team welcomed several high profile guests to take part in the show. Charlie Boorman, Harvey Rides Bikes and Bike Shed founder Anthony “Dutch” van Someren were among the special guests invited to lie on top of the 6ft OSET trailer while the riders jumped over the top of them.
