Good Start to the Season for the TRRS Riders in Arteixo (CET)

Arteixo, A Coruña, hosted the start of the Spanish Trial Championship 2024 with a double event, both on Saturday and Sunday the Trial riders had to deal with some very demanding and tough sections due to a really bad weather, with heavy rains and plenty of mud on both days of competition.

TR1 – Gelabert and Casales Very Close to the Podium

Aniol Gelabert made his debut in the CET with his new TRRS ONE RR in Arteixo. During the first day the young TRRS rider made a first lap with 17 points and 11 in the second, placing himself only five points away from the podium positions.

Close behind him was Jorge Casales, the rider from Vigo of the TRRS – Non Stop Bikes team, who made his debut in Arteixo in the company of his home crowd and achieved a fifth position.

On Sunday, the rain intensified and with it, the course became more demanding. Casales and Gelabert swapped positions on the second day, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.

TR2 – Great presence of TRRS riders and podium finish for Dinarès

No less than 7 TRRS riders took part in the TR2 category, being the brand with more presence. On the first day Sam Obradó was the best classified with a seventh position, followed by Mats Nilsen, Arnau Escarrà and Pau Dinarès respectively.

On the second day of competition, Pau Dinarès achieved his first podium of the season with a second place finish. Mats Nilsen andSam Obradó finished fourth and fifth.

TR3 – Junior / Podium for Jordi Camp and Aniol Llamas

In the TR3 category, Jordi Camp made his debut with TRRS in Arteixo. The Cent Peus Racing Team – TRRS rider finished third both on Saturday and Sunday.

In Junior, Aniol Llamas, Planettrial-TRRS rider, achieved a meritorious third and sixth position in a very disputed category with 20 riders participating.

Cadet 125cc – Otger Martí outstanding leader

Otger Martí took his first victory of the season in Arteixo. Martí made his debut with an outstanding victory in the Cadet 125cc category. Aleix Avalos finished second on Sunday and showed the potential of the TRRS ONE RR 125cc.

TR1 Women – Denise Pechackova makes her debut on the top of the podium

The young Czech TRRS rider made her debut in the top CET category on her new bike. Pechackova was far superior to her rivals both on Saturday and Sunday.

Juvenil B – Podiums for Franch and Paredes

Grau Franch made his debut in Arteixo with his first podium in the category on the first day of competition. On Sunday it was his teammate Carlos Paredes who got the second final position.
