VERTIGO WELCOMES MATTEO GRATTAROLA

Vertigo is delighted to announce the signing of Matteo Grattarola, one of the main references in the international trials scene and world’s number 4 in the 2021 and 2022 TrialGP campaigns, where he has paid many visits to the podium and knows what it takes to win a GP.

Grattarola joins the Vertigo Factory Team to compete in the TrialGP World Championship, the X-Trial and the Italian National Championship, where he owns 13 outdoor and 11 indoor titles. Finding himself in a mature stage of his professional career, and having proved his capabilities to reach the top spots in the international scene, the team believes that his association with the Nitro, the most competitive 2-stroke trials bike of the moment, will give him a new boost to fight for even greater goals in all competitions.

Grattarola will lead a Vertigo Factory Team that will display a large line-up in the TrialGP 2023 season. Trial2 riders Pau Martínez and Mattia Spreafico have already been confirmed to stay for another year, and both will have a new teammate in Adrià Mercadé, who has signed to move-up from the 125 class. In the coming weeks, the team will announce the rest of the team.

Matteo Grattarola, Vertigo Factory rider: “I’m stoked. This will be a whole new experience for me and from the very beginning I felt this was like a family, everyone welcomed me really well, and I feel we share the same working ethics. We have already started to work on the bike, which is completely different from what I was used to, I’m enjoying the process and our main goal right now is to build a proper base and already be competitive at the Barcelona X-Trial. I’ll give my best to bring Vertigo the best results possible, and I know the team will be working hard as well.”
